      • Project objective: to validate the testing apparatus that was used to analyze the thermal performance of wall samples• Led my team in designing, testing, and analyzing the thermal performance of a commonly used insulation material sample(sample was tested using the testing apparatus)• Designed the instrumentation of the sample using freehand drawing techniques and PowerPoint• Tested and modified the instrumentation of the sample accordingly over a period of 2 weeks (used an infrared camera to detect and recommend appropriate design modifications)• Used a data acquisition system to collect the data of the sample for the many trials conducted over the test period• Analyzed the collected data and charted the analyzed results of the sample using Excel spreadsheet software• Verified validity of testing apparatus by comparing the analyzed results of the sample with the tested industry standard for that sample• Presented findings to specialists from industry which resulted in commendation from specialists• Wrote a comprehensive final report in findings for the use of next year's students Show less
