  As the inaugural Executive Director of Elevate Birmingham, I spearheaded the organization's formation and development. In 2022, I was honored to receive the Golden Helmet Award from Elevate USA, which underscored my exceptional leadership. I oversaw the successful hosting of the 2023 National Elevate the USA Summit in Birmingham, AL, showcasing our city's prominence on a national stage. Overseeing a budget of $750,000 in our second year, we were rated one of the top Elevate programs for student engagement and student outcomes. Through a combination of in-school and out-of-school initiatives, we directly impacted the lives of 350 students, fostering educational advancement and holistic growth. My tenure at Elevate Birmingham is defined by visionary leadership, notable recognition, and the strategic acquisition of resources to drive our mission forward.Key Contributions:- Rapidly scaled program from 53 students enrolled in daily classes to 161- From 46% of students served reporting deep relationships to 71%- Increased on-track to graduate rate from 88.2% to 97.5% Show less
