  I had the pleasure of working with a great team of professionals in a very unique facility safely supporting cutting edge scientific research nearly 1-mile underground.➣Achieved 13 consecutive months of zero recordable occupational injuries for the first time in SDSTA history by providing leadership, shaping and delivering the organizations health and safety strategy, and improving safety and risk culture.➣Developed and executed an effective and robust organizational Safety and Wellness program that included workers compensation case management, functional job assessments and screens, and managed return to work processes that measurably reduced occupational injury costs by 25% in the first full year with sustainable reductions observed in subsequent years.➣Created and optimized the top-down Yates shaft maintenance and staffing plan that increased the ability to perform uninterrupted heavy shaft maintenance by 33% with no decrease in science access accomplished with a 13% reduction in staffing.
