      Produced an econometric model based forecast of the U.S. steel industry. Maintained a database of macroeconomic and industry specific data. Periodically updated (tuned) the forecasting model parameters with current data using linear regression and other statistical techniques. Produced a quarterly publication of the forecast with tables, graphs and written commentary. Clients included major U.S., Asian, and European Integrated Steel Corporations, U.S. Department of Commerce, and U.S. Department of Defense. Provided the market forecast used by the Department of Commerce to quantify the quotas established in the Reagan Administration Steel Voluntary Restraint Agreements.Provided statistical/economic consulting and information services to the economic staff of major corporations including GE, IBM, Xerox, and GTE. The services included developing and maintaining product line forecasting models and creating customized economic indicator reports and data visualizations. Show less

Responsible for program development, capital budgeting, preparation of plans and specifications, procurement, inspection and managing public impacts for $7 million roadway capital improvement program. The work utilized a pavement management system and included a full range of improvements from crack sealing and microsurfacing to full-depth reconstruction.Program Manager, Water Main Improvement Program. Responsible for capital budgeting, design, preparation of plans and specifications, public bidding for the program. The work included water main and service relay and water main cleaning & lining.Program Manager, Sanitary Sewer Collection Program. Responsible for budgeting, preparation of plans and specifications, procurement, inspection and managing public impacts for a municipal sanitary sewer extension program. The work included gravity and pressure collection systems as well as pump stations.Project Manager Infiltration/Inflow Reduction Program. Managed multiple consultant contracts for the investigation, design, bidding and construction management of a $4 million I/I reduction program. The work included test and seal grouting and cured-in-place lining.Traffic Engineer - member of the Selectmen’s Traffic Safety Advisory Committee. Conducted public meetings in response to resident petitions, developed solutions to traffic problems, and presented recommendations to the Selectmen at public hearings. Upon approval, implemented the solutions.Right-of-Way Engineer. Responsible for administration of the town's easement granting process for telecommunication and gas utilities and the issuance of water and sewer connection permits. Negotiated agreements for and managed town inspection of major telecommunication installations.Designed, programmed and implemented a Street Opening and Water/Sewer Connection Permit system, an automated timesheet system and an accounts payable tracking system.
