  Install, inspect, operate, maintain, repair and emergency response activities associated with high pressure gas compressor stations, pipelines and AGI's within a set geographical zone of the national transmision system (south west & Wales) but also optionally assisting in other zones when required. (Aberdeen, Wooler, Bishop Auckland, Carnforth, Peterborough, Cambridge) Undertaking a number of different activities, examples of this are, removal and instillation of GE LM2500+ DLE engines, Nuovo Pignone and Dresser Rand power turbines, as well as De-Laval high pressure gas compressors. Another key part of the role is ensuring the high pressure pipelines are protected in accordance with HSE requirements by attending aerial sightings, monitoring third party works, and testing CP (Catholic Protection) systems as well as carrying out various ILI (In Line Inspection) runs. Other activities consist of overseeing and inspecting work activities of contractors and working party members, as well as ensuring accurate site maintenance on AGI sites and compressor sites, ensuing all work undertaken is safe for myself and others in accordance with SCO (Safe Control of Operations), risk assessments and either specific job procedures, permit to work systems or non-routine operation procedures.
