      The project was funded by a grant from the Health Resources & Services Administration HIV/AIDS Bureau (HRSA-HAB), a Division of the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS). The region covers five States (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, & Texas)• Developed and revised data collection tools and processes that improved data capture and quality by 30% and 25% respectively.• Convened and headed a regional evaluation work group responsible for reviewing, revising, and implementing a more robust and responsive set of evaluation forms that yielded more reliable data.• Represented the SCAETC region on national committees and work groups, and provided technical assistance on data, evaluation, and quality matters.• Led a team that successfully implemented the revised National AETC Evaluation Plan (NEP) mandated by grantor (HRSA). Provided regular updates to project partners on new developments to facilitate proper adoption of revised tools and processes; provided technical assistance in response to issues associated with the transition.• Managed the SCAETC regional HIV Needs Assessment project conducted across the region (report was submitted to our grantor - HRSA). The project involved data collection, interviews, data mining, and analysis of aggregate data, and collaboration with AETC projects across the U.S.A., and with the grantor’s representatives.• Prepared and presented Cultural Competency training to providers that care for people living with HIV. • Presented SCAETC region’s work at local and regional conferences and events.
