Projects included biomedical device design, actuating attachment designs, and shape memory alloy (SMA) spring studies.Aerospace applications: Designed several active distributed attachment surfaces for aerospace applications utilizing SMA actuator. Published and presented research on Active Distributed Attachment surfaces at ASME SMASIS conference.Biomedical Design: Designing an implantable hydraulic device to treat Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS) in infants. Prototyped, tested, and validated against European energy standards to and presented findings in a cross regional design review.Quality Engineer, Manufacturing - Amana, IowaManufacturing and structural design quality for high end refrigerators. Utilized six sigma and lean principles to solve top structural issues in the field.
