  Trained on A6, A7, F4, F/A18, EA6B, E2C LRU's and numerous test stands, both manual and automatic. Became the Automatic Test Equipment Branch Supervisor on board the USS Coral Sea. As an Instructor at NATTC Millington, I was designated as a Master Training Specialist in charge of a running average of 1750 Students and 230 Instructors. I directed a successful course re-write of the avionics course curriculum that allowed Students to have more hands on training with the various test equipment they would use in the Fleet. Fleet feedback improved significantly and led to me being Decorated by the Chief of Naval Education and Training. Show less

  I am the Lead Sr. AMT in charge of all models of Digital Flight Data Recorders, Voice Recorders and Combination DFDR/CVR Recorders. I download, interpret, design .pdf files and Excel spreadsheets for all phases of flight, ADHOC requests, and provide input for trend analysis of specific A/C on a 24/7 basis. I test, repair and return to service these LRU's and over 220 other LRU's on all A/C in our fleet to include B727-100, B727-200, B747-200, B757-200, B777F, A310-200, A310-300, A300-600 and soon to be added B767. I assisted in streamlining world wide DFDR downloads using LEAN CI processes. Show less I am the Lead Sr. AMT for Digital Flight Data Recorder, Voice Recorder and combination Flight/Voice Recorder Department for FedEx Express. I have one assistant which makes me the focal point for all FedEx type aircraft fleets. I am proficient in Avionica and ADRAS software used to interpret flight parameters to pinpoint inoperative systems and aid in troubleshooting the cause of these failures. Install software and certify Digital Flight Data Acquisition Units as well as Recorder Control Units. Also proficient in ATE such as the UNIVATE and all LRU's tested and repaired using it. Our fleets have, and do consist of B747, DC10, MD10, MD11, B727, B757, B777, A310 and A300. B767 will be added to our fleet soon.I remain on call 24/7 to readout DFDR's when necessary to aid in incident investigations and fault troubleshooting.I have the FAA A&P license, FAA Repairman Certificates for Accessory, Instrument and RF, and the FCC License with Ships RADAR Endorsement.
