Mujumdar, Dept. of Civil Engg., Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. The key responsibilities are Analysis and Design of Drainage network (Bangalore), Real-time management of urban drainage systems using water level sensors to develop flood extent maps. Chennai floods are analysed and Bangalore Drainage system is simulated for Chennai Rainfall intensity to derive the flood extent maps. This project is developed as a template to utilize the technology and knowledge gained, in all the other Indian cities. The project has been awarded, “The outstanding project” for the year 2015.
