Through the process of re- constructive visualisation the changes in the neural pathways are profound.Today more professionals are asked to engage with the process of damage through neglectful and/or abuse in childhood. Inner child therapy provides the opportunity for repair through the provision of new information. As a supervisor for the Sexual Assault Response centres I have a greater insight into the world of abuse which brings clients a depth of experience not usually found in the therapeutic relationship.
