  Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) is a company of 7 brands of international hotels including Crowne Plaza, InterContinental, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hotel Indigo, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood. I managed multiple projects and programs across different platforms and ensured each project team successfully completed multiple releases per year. My capital budgets were in excess of $1.2 million and my operating expense budgets were $1.5 million. My projects relied heavily on strong vendor management, for which I was recognized by management. I provided utilization and project status reports to senior management. I managed and coordinated all phases of the project life cycle by developing project schedules, capturing business requirements, forecasting and preparing design documents and program specifications. Some examples of my larger projects and programs include:• I managed from inception to completion a new custom property improvement project management system developed using the Salesforce platform, and deployed it in North America, South American and China. I facilitated requirements gathering meetings from business users from multiple countries, QA and user acceptance testing. I also carefully coordinated our releases with multiple other enterprise systems. Using Agile, I managed 3-week sprints to address defects and enhancements. I performed all release management of the application once our initial phase was deployed to production. • I owned an application that provides hotels the ability to track certifying green solutions. The application supports 9 languages and hotels on every continent. This project had high visibility in senior management, requiring additional status reporting targeting both the business user community and senior management. I facilitated daily standup calls and ensured the team deployed new releases every 6 weeks to address enhancements, defects and translation. Show less

The brand relaunch was highly secretive, and I successfully managed 22 separate, concurrent workstreams, a multi-million-dollar budget and a launch date that could not be moved. The relaunch was nearly flawless across the multiple systems, facilities and materials that had to be updated, and the project ended under budget. My Enterprise Alert projects are being implemented as an internal emergency communication platform in a hospital and a university. The Medicall implementation provides fire panel and nurse call monitoring/alerting for three different hospitals.
