      -The project aims to find the reasons for the low efficiency of some machines at the Global Autotech Company. To accomplish this first a detailed and a technical study of "die casting process" is carried out which then evolves into the study of defects that occur in the die casting process. -Finally, to tackle the problem of reduced efficiency of machines, a tabulation work is carried out wherein various parameters affecting the die casting process are first identified and then the value for each parameter is found for the given machines. This is accomplished using operation manuals of the machines, mechanical drawings of the machines and by practically inspecting the machine for data. Show less
