  Ozgur had the position Head of Centre-Management Department, being directly responsible for the management of 7 shopping malls in Turkey and 1 shopping mall in Greece, compromising a total of 1.200 shops, 340.000 m2 GLA. At that time, ECE Turkey was a joint-venture of ECE from Germany and GGP General Growth Properties from USA. Ozgur was directly responsible for the grand opening / market launch of "The Mall Athens" in Greece, the first shopping mall of Greece with 200 shops and 60.000 m2 GLA. The Greek operation was a joint-venture between ECE from Germany and LAMDA Development from Greece. Ozgur acted as the center manager of Antalya Migros Shopping Mall in Turkey and Promenade im Hauptbahnhof Hanover Shopping Centre (located in a main train station) in Germany.

  Ozgur was responsible for the development of 8 large-size shopping malls around Turkey, 1 in Tblisi / Georgia and 1 in Odessa / Ukraine. His sphere of duties covered many different aspects starting from giving the initial "owner's" briefings to architects to implementing all operational systems for the market launch / grand opening of these total 10 shopping malls. During his time with the ACTEEUM Group, he was the managing partner of a subsidiary company - CURE Commercial Urban Real Estate - for the third party management / consultancy services business. CURE had a contract for the management of Astoria Shopping Mall in central business district of Istanbul (120 shops, 25.000 m2 GLA) and several "management & leasing consultancy contracts" for shopping malls around Turkey.   Ozgur founded his own company to provide marketing services (activities, decorations, exhibitions) to the shopping mall sector in and around Turkey. LONCA was the local partner of "First Christmas" decoration company from Hamburg, Germany and jointly both companies have delivered some great decorations to top shopping malls in Turkey.

  Ozgur joined TSP as an executive board member after TSP has become a partner in LONCA. Since TSP is a leader in the facility management sector in Turkey, Ozgur had the chance to broaden his experience and expertise in facility management of office buildings and residential complexes during his time with TSP.

  Ozgur joined CORIO Turkey (nowadays Klepierre Turkey) as the COO - Chief Operations Officer. CORIO had a portfolio of 6 malls around Turkey (650 shops, 225.000 m2 GLA) and additionally a partnership in the award-winning Akmerkez Shopping Center in Istanbul (250 shops, 35.000 m2 GLA, best shopping mall of Europe in 1995, of the World in 1996).

  Ozgur worked for TORUNLAR REIT as the mall general manager in TORIUM Shopping Mall in Istanbul (180 shops, 100.000 m2 GLA). He was reporting to the Chairman. TORUNLAR REIT is the owner of Mall of Istanbul, Korupark Shopping Mall in Bursa, Mall of Antalya and several other shopping mall projects.

  Ozgur revitalized his own company LONCA together with his partners. Like in previous times, LONCA specialized in marketing events in shopping centers serving a large number of clients.At the same time, LONCA had management consultancy contracts with 1 mall project in Istanbul (25.000 m2 GLA) and 1 mall project in Baku / Azerbaijan (30.000 m2 GLA).

  After the successful market launch of RIYADH PARK, Ozgur moved to the Headquarters of HAMAT and he was in charge of periodically visiting, auditing and coaching 8 HAMAT owned malls (plus 3 plazas - community strip malls), spread around the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was reporting to the CEO.His position required frequent travelling to many cities around Saudi Arabia from Tabuk to Jizan and from Jeddah to Dammam.HAMAT retail portfolio sums up to around 600.000 m2 of GLA (Gross Leasable Area) and more than 1.800 retail units. Together with a team of 30 employees, Ozgur manages around 20 properties (approx. 300 lease contracts) in Muscat and Dubai.
