National Water Supply Drainage Board (NWSDB) is the Employer of this development. The project involved the construction of Phase I –60,000m3/Day Water Treatment plant,10,000 Ground Reservoir, Salinity Barrier and Servicing I Infrastructure and Landscape Work – Phase I, Four-Storied Administration Building and Raw Water Intake with Transmission.Prepared requests for proposals and handled the tendering process for the appointment of various consultants.Carried out tender evaluation and drafted recommendation reports.Drafted contract agreements, letters of award etc and negotiated with counterparties to appoint them as consultants. Carried out the prequalification process to identify potential bidders for consultancy and construction contracts.Prepared high-level cost estimates and tender documents for minor construction packages.Reviewed the concession agreement and other necessary documents to identify the requirement tobe included in the construction contracts.Liaised with the External QS Consultant to prepare cost estimates and cost plans.Carried out of Contract Administration of ongoing construction contracts including drafting of various correspondences.Assisted the legal department to handle the issues in concession agreements related to construction works.
