  ‘Rose, Lotus’ is the first stage adaptation of the seminal Korean horror film ‘A Tale of Two Sisters’ investigating the audience's endurance of fear as well as question the effects of live performance versus the classical horror movie genre.'Rose, Lotus' will put forth a unique impact of excitement and intrigue for its audience whilst still adapting the effectiveness of the horror movie genre.The first performance was successfully presented at Central Saint Martins in London on 3rd of June 2014 and this show is on the progress to go further. Show less The 'HAPPY HOUR' is an interactive performance art project which researches the notion of happiness among the students and staffs of the University of the Arts London through interview, interactions and laughter.By occupying the communal spaces in each college, especially the lift where performer can hold much closer communication and interaction with her/his audiences because of its limited space, we encountered people across UAL and their great stories.The First start of the 'HAPPY HOUR' was in 2012 from the Central Saint Martins by myself and has been developed by a generous 'POST GRADUATE COMMUNITY FUNDING' of University of the Arts London.   NaCl[salt] is a collaborative promenade piece created for and tailored to the specific environment of Polverigi’s Villa Nappi, poetically interpreted by Mapped Productions in a work loosely based on Chekhov's 'The Cherry Orchard' . The production (re)imagines the grounds of the villa and its contemporary surroundings. The economic development of the land predicted by Chekhov and the demise of the old world is perhaps inevitable and arguably necessary; but is the new world going to be a place worth living in?   Nova Insula - A new immersive experience tailored to Ancona's fortress: the Lazzareto.Nova Insula takes themes, ideas, and issues of The Tempest and addresses them through design and dramaturgy rather than spoken text. By presenting it in this visual manner, the content and story become more accessible to the audience. The original text acts as a jumping off point for the creative process rather than something to be faithfully rendered.The Lazzaretto in Ancona has a long and interesting history. Originally being built as a leper colony in the 18th century, it has also served as military base and a site for importing goods into Ancona. By setting Nova Insula in this particular site, we are engaged in work that can be described as site-responsive. The text and the space stand in conversation with one another, both their differences and similarities adding to the dialog. Show less
