      • Responsibility for Christchurch Hospital and Clinical Support Services across the region.• Was appointed the first ever non-medical GM of the Hospital. • Led the transition of Christchurch Hospital into the new Parkside block and decommissioned all old wards without undue risk or any disruption to essential services. • Established Canterbury Health Laboratories as a fully commercial organisation which still operates highly successfully today.       Strategic and Operational management of 8 prison in Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill and Wellington. • Full responsibility for the 5 South Island Prisons.• Instigated and headed a business transformation process resulting in the Christchurch Prisons transitioning from the lowest performing corrections facility in NZ to the highest performing facility in NZ.• Established strong relationships with Unions and Corrections staff and created a positive culture. This was from an initial period of strong opposition to my appoint as the inaugural ‘non-Corrections’ Regional Manager. • Established the first Youth Units in prisons across NZ and led the development of policies and systems to manage these difficult prisons safely and with a focus on rehabilitation.       Responsible for full strategic and commercial leadership of LPC's Bulk Cargo Customers and Marine services. • Managing the performance and customer relationships with Fuel, Log, Car/Vehicle, Bulk Fertiliser, Cruise, Fishing, Antarctic support, Military & other General Cargo trades who operated through Lyttelton. • Led a strategy that saw all LPC’s systems for managing the Port and Harbour Safety Code requirements significantly enhanced. LPC is now seem by Maritime NZ and other agencies as a leader in NZ. • Establishment of a new Bulk Cargo and Marine Service team with a strong commercial and customer focus.• Led the Marine Services team who deliver Pilotage, Tugs and Lines service across the port.       Squash Canterbury is an Incorporated Society responsible for the leadership and management of the sport of squash across Canterbury, West Coat, Nelson and Marlborough. I lead the setting of strategy, oversee legal and compliance frameworks and help manage squash across Canterbury, West Coast, Nelson and Marlborough districts. Additionally I work collaboratively with the Squash New Zealand Chair to align strategy and structures with the National Strategy.
