About me

What began as a deep fascination with cancer biology has grown into a 25+ year mission: transforming how cancer is diagnosed and prevented. I am an oncopathologist and precision medicine strategist, blending clinical depth with business acumen to advance pathology, solid tumor diagnostics, molecular pathology, liquid biopsy, and genomics-based solutions. My work sits at the intersection of science, technology, and scalable healthcare innovation. Highlights of my journey: Chief of Pathology, Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital Led the transformation of a traditional lab into a cutting-edge translational center. Introduced automated IHC, 13-color flow cytometry, NGS, and molecular diagnostics, while building academic programs (DNB Pathology, PDCC Oncopath). Director (Clinical Support), Datar Cancer Genetics Championed adoption of advanced non-invasive diagnostics (CTC and ctDNA). Worked cross-functionally to bridge lab science with clinical practice, driving physician and patient education at scale. Lab Director, Yoda Lifeline Diagnostics Spearheaded a multidisciplinary lab spanning oncology, fertility, neurology, hematology, and genetics, delivering actionable diagnostics across specialties. Beyond the lab, I’ve authored 89+ peer-reviewed publications, delivered global lectures, and mentored the next generation of pathology and oncology leaders.
