  Responsibilities and duties:• Review contract documents and identify requirements and scope of work for project execution.• Identify and quantify a list of deliverables and man-hour allocation.• Review specifications, drawings, and other documents as per project.• Review client project scopes and prepare technical queries for clarification.• Assign tasks to team members within man-hour budget & schedule.• Negotiate with fellow engineers, other disciplines, and clients to resolve critical issues.• Prepare project design criteria report and develop an execution plan for the projects.• Coordinate/Interface with vendors, other engineering disciplines, construction, commissioning & operation teams to obtain the required inputs.• Supervise the technical work of conceptual/study layouts, designs, stress analysis of piping systems and provide technical assistance as needed. • Coordinate Material Take-off (MTO) activities, identify irregularities, discrepancies and shortfalls and take corrective action as required.• Supervise the preparation and issue of Inquiry Requisitions to vendors. Participate in technical bid evaluations. Review vendor drawings, documents, and design calculations. Ensure vendor equipment specifications meet with client equipment specifications and within budgeted costs.• Review 3D Model regularly & ensure proper Model Review as per Model Review checklist.• Lead the 3D model and Plot Plan / Equipment Layout Review meetings.• Perform site visits with the Participation of the process lead engineer and company representatives, and the construction team to define the optimum physical location and shutdown type of tie-ins.• Support construction team, including handling site queries.• Follow up on the implementation of piping scope in the project schedule.• Assist in the performance appraisal of the department personnel following the company procedures.
