      RMIT Software Engineering Capstone Project Semester 2, 2024Successfully led a student team in an industry-focused capstone project from conception to completion. We worked with Astral, an information asset management consultancy, to generate customised business reports tailored to specific stakeholder requirements, particularly in the areas of employee utilisation and project profitability. As the project lead, my responsibilities included: - Implementing SCRUM artifacts in an Agile project management framework from sprint to sprint- Working on Azure Virtual Machines to preserve data confidentiality - Advanced data querying and analysis using Oracle NetSuite - Exporting data via SuiteScript (RESTful API built with node.js) - Migration of data into Microsoft Azure databases via JavaScript Function Apps - Implementing data transformation, modelling and visualisations in Microsoft PowerBI - Consistent communication between the product owner through weekly progress catch-ups- Effective delegation of responsibilities to team members during weekly sprint planning meetings, reviews and retrosOur project was one of a few outstanding projects selected for the RMIT Capstone Project Showcase for Semester 2, 2024.
