  Christian Life Education Teacher

  As a Christian Life Education teacher in Assumption, my role was multifaceted and crucial to my students' development and faith formation. I was responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that facilitates the discovery of the Christian Faith through religious instruction and human experience. My primary duties include:1. Planning and Delivering Faith-encounter Lessons: Designing and implementing well-structured lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the spiritual formation of my students through purposeful integration of learning activities that facilitate appreciation of silence, mindfulness, reflection, and building the spirit of community.2. Student Assessment: Regularly assessing and evaluating student progress on the target skills through reflection papers and projects that aid transfer of learning. I provide constructive feedback to help students improve their performance and identify areas where additional support may be required.3. Classroom Management: Maintaining a respectful, non-judgmental, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel safe in expressing themselves with the aid of prudent parameters such as active attention, affirmation, and empowerment.4. Parent-Teacher Communication: Establishing open and effective communication channels with parents or guardians through Parent-Teacher Conference, keeping them informed about their child's progress, behavior, and concerns.5. Professional Development: Engaging in continuous professional development activites to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, educational technologies, and best practices in the educational landscape through pursuing further studies, attending workshops and seminars, and participating in retreats and recollections.My role as a teacher goes beyond imparting knowledge; I am a mentor, role model, and most importantly, formator and advocate for the students.
