      First woman pilot, first woman captain, and first all women flight crew. Additional experience included scheduled line flying, aircraft charters, reposition and ferry flight, maintenance test flights, pilot hiring, and new hire training. I set the standard for more women to follow. During the time of my employment, we built up to record number of women pilots from zero percent when I started to 10% at the time I resigned to fly for American Airlines.

      Our JBEC Core Team includes management, front-line independent, and union employees who collaboratively produce communication with a focus on business information for all AA employees. JBEC includes several teams, including a Steering Team, Core Communications Team and field Joint Communications Teams (JCT). The Core Communications team produces the national joint newsletter, On The Fly; BizEd, training and support for field joint communication teams; and coordination for collaborative events. JBEC members also attend the NJLT monthly meetings and provide information on joint initiatives through a variety of communication vehicles. To stay in line with the Company Business Plan members attend the Fall Leadership Conference, both as participants and to share with other departments what JBEC is about in an informative and interactive trade show booth setting. Show less After an internal departmental transfer to Flight Operations Safety, Sr. Administrator Flight Aviation Action Safety Program (ASAP) & Flight Operations Quality Assurance Program (FOQA), I was a data processor for Flight ASAP, published reports from FOQA, created and presented a Domestic Line Operation Safety Audit (LOSA), and represented the Flight Safety Department twice in Flight Incident Reviews (FIR). In addition, after our 737 accident in Kingston, Jamaica on December 23, 2009 I worked Command Center (SOCC) duty representing the Flight Safety Department. Show less
