      Responsible for the group fleet of over 20000 units and a branch network that has expanded to 87 locations throughout South Wales and the South West. Direct responsibilities include:• Core areas of department, customer service, vehicle downtime, cost control, claim completion, vehicle condition/standard and vendor management•Contract renewal/negotiation with all vendors, contract values £5m PA•Ensure 100% execution of plan to develop repair network to cope with increased fleet growth/branch footprint/claim loads.Fiduciary responsibility for a growing fleet worth in excess of £50 million •Identifying and delivering on various cost savings initiatives/efficiency’s designed to aid profitability. •As part of the senior management team, consistent delivery of companies goals/expectations to all other levels of the business. •Key stakeholder in delivering company objectives pertaining to founding values/community inclusion •Development and delivery of all training materials•Coaching and development of all new rental employees in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.•Build annual operating plans and strategies, implement into wider business plans.•Forecasting of costs, margins, claim loads and network requirements to ensure costs do not exceed budgets and margins are achieved.•Full P&L responsibility for department.•Relationship building with network of repairers, dealerships and bodyshops, including nationally agreed contracts.•Formal monthly performance reviews with all vendors and rental branches. Agreed action plans implemented if performance below required KPI’s.•Create and manage processes to ensure all rental branches meet maintenance and repair KPI’s. Implement and conduct disciplinary process when required.•Pro-active communication planning for rental branches and vendors to ensure minimum downtime of any vehicles.•Management of all safety recalls and total fleet safety standards.
