  SRS was originally Silikal Resin Systems, a privately held specialty chemicals company, specializing in the the sale of materials to the construction industry. In 1998, SRS was purchased and merged into the building products division of Degussa, one of the world’s largest international specialty chemical companies. In 2003, SRS was downsized into the parent company and the SRS corporate office was closed.Selected accomplishments:•I served as the only female executive in this male-dominated global construction company.•Repositioned and redefined the company through a methodical shift of the focus, moving from a product-driven company to a market-driven company resulting in quadruple growth in six years.•Worked closely with outside agencies and in-house corporate communications, marketing and creative departments to support the new corporate position, vision, mission and objectives.•Member of Executive Leadership Team, Strategic Business Planning Committee, Merger/Acquisition and Integration team.•Served as global marketing strategy liaison and coach to several other international subsidiaries and divisions of Degussa including business units in Germany, Australia, England, Norway, China, Japan and Italy.•When the corporate office closed, I seized the opportunity to create my own company, and ProLaureate Ltd was born.
