I worked closely with parents, students, and teachers as a member of a great administrative team. Job duties included: Discipline, teacher evaluation, vendor relations, technology support for Skyward (student information system), direct manager of 60+ employees and part of the leadership team responsible for 150 teachers. On my off time, I wanted to help modernize the antiquated way that the school handled discipline so I created a discipline management system using gscript, google sheets, and forms. This later expanded to help also report on student attendance to provide a unified dashboard experience used by the administration to help spend less time on tasks and more time on driving instructional goals. Show less I primarily served as a Chemistry teacher for the Early College High School preparing students to take college level courses. I was asked to sit in and be a substitute principal when the principal was out. I helped out in a variety of other areas as needed, as the school was small and there was a lot to do:I migrated the Textbook system to Destiny and updated procedures to help improve the overall flow of checking out textbooks. I was the technical resource for the training and development of Chromebooks. In the classroom, I adopted a gamified approach to learning that helped students achieve 10 to 15 points higher than their peers, and an exceptionally large passing rate for the course.
