  I am responsible for the operation & maintenance of the Mechanical Recycling and Composting Plant for the mixed urban wastes of the Attica region, in Athens, Greece, located at Ano Liosia Landfill.One hundred ninety (190) employees (technical & administrative staff) are working under my supervision.The main sectors of the plant are the Mechanical Separation and Recycling, Composting, Scrubbers, Refinery of the compost, Packaging of the compost.The nominal capacity of the Plant is 1.200 tones of mixed urban wastes per day.I was responsible for the operation, maintenance and the continuous compliance with the approved environmental conditions of the unique fully licensed Hazardous Medical Waste Incineration Plant in Greece, located at Ano Liosia Landfill.Thirty one (31) employees (technical & administrative staff) were working under my supervision.The plant consists of two (2) identical incineration lines, maximum capacity 2 X 15 tones / day.The incineration process takes place in rotary kiln, at temperatures above 1.100oC in the Post Combustion Chamber.
