Constant interaction in the Chinese language.* Attended M/E overhaul of a 10000 DWT Chemical/oil tanker in UAE. During this project, major component parts of the engine (crankshaft, pistons, liners, bearings, connecting rods, etc.) were replaced and my role was to monitor the process and make the interpretation between the Chinese OEM service engineer, the repair team and the vessel’s crew.
