The goal of information management (IM) is to get the right information to the right person in the right format at the right time which is critical to success in large-scale combat operations. Worked daily with Quantico as a thought leader to develop IM doctrine. The successes of this position eventually led to the creation of the IM approved and published doctrine and to the establishment of the IMO occupational specialty and establishment of IMOs at all major US Marine commands.   Hand picked to be Chief Architect and principal technical advisor to CEO equivalent. Senior military officer and assistant director for 230 military, civil service, and contractor personnel. Supervised and managed the day-to-day operations of the Marine Corps’ only integration and test facility for warfighting information systems (over 200 systems, 7 facilities, and 4 networks). Developed, briefed, and implemented far-reaching architecting process that was adopted by three services.
