      Waitress

Starting out as a hostess, my duties consisted of greeting and seating customers, cleaning, and maintaining an organized work space. As a waitress at the same restaurant, I wait on tables (greet, receive drink and food orders, deliver drinks and food, cash out tables when they leave, clean tables), expedite food, help other servers when needed, and other tasks as assigned.

Maryland Fire and Life Safety Inten

Through my internship, my goal was to communicate the fire and life safety message to the public in the most efficient ways possible. There are three main ways I worked towards this goal.1. I controled the website www.mdlifesafety.org which included creating the web design, writing articles for the website, and maintaining the website. 2. Social media accounts through facebook and twitter allowed me to quickly post information to a large audience.3. Maintenance of life safety kits located at each of the regional fire marshal offices; which consisted of a projector, screen, and a laptop containing fire and life safety lessons for people of all ages; allowed for other people throughout the state to help spread the life saving message of fire and life safety.
