  Thesis: "Medical image fusion CT-MRI for radiotherapy treatment planning"The aim of this thesis is to examine the contribution of medical image registration and fusion in radiotherapy treatment planning. The accuracy of CT and MRI data fusion was analysed by using rigid transformations and the use of the fused data as base for radiotherapy treatment planning was examined. The experimental part took place in “Theagenion” Anticancer Hospital of Thessaloniki.
