      I represented my high school in liaising with The Big Heart Foundation in supporting healthcare facilities to Middle Eastern refugees. My responsibilities were based on volunteering in various fund-raising initiatives in my school on behalf of the foundation (i.e. Breast Cancer Awareness). Moreover, I would hold weekly meetings with my class to understand their concerns and bring these up with the school's leadership team. This was my first ever experience in a leadership role and it helped me understand the value of the leader and how having a voice is vital in improving the culture that you work and study in.       Considering the scope of this firm, my job involved handling large databases with various types of information on our product portfolio and building a marketing strategy to improve the profitability of underperforming products. This opportunity allowed me to be creative as I was able to ‘play around’ with the data and find trends in order to understand and forecast our clients’ preferences. By the end of this internship, I was given the responsibility of building a presentation to share my insights with the Canon Dubai executive team. Therefore, I had to ensure to organize my data and visuals accordingly so that the process of my analysis was clear, and that my conclusions made sense to the whole team. This was a great opportunity for me to learn about, and network with, the Marketing and Procurement teams as this company hosted a collaborate work place where each department worked in conjunction of each other.       I worked with a startup that taught sustainable living practices to young children in school, through a mobile application. As part of a small team, I spent four months building a digital solution that utilized market research and competitor analysis to solve the client’s main challenge of monetizing the application without hindering gameplay. My skills in managing stakeholder relationships were challenged as I had to conduct several meetings with the client to properly dissect the problem and keep consistent/constant communication in order to provide updates as well as additional queries. Maintaining relationships with my team members was another highlight of this experience as we had to build a solution that encompassed all workstreams and had to be done in a limited time.
