  Upon introduction of a Business & Technology major (Fall 2000) which integrated summer internships into the curriculum, I collaborated with the Dean and faculty to secure commitments from employers and prepare students for professional work. To meet the needs of a growing international graduate student population, I established and presented a10-week workshop series on leveraging advanced degrees for career growth. The success of this series is evident in its continued offering five years after my departure from the Institute.Reporting to the Director of Career Development, I steered much of the day-to-day operations, including the management of 300+ companies participating in On-Campus Recruiting, training three junior colleagues, executing three annual career fairs, and serving as an expert in the graduate school application process.   In this AACSB-Accredited business school, I advised undergraduates, MBA students, and alumni across seven academic disciplines. I was appointed Interim Managing Assistant Director (March - November 2015), assuming oversight of the business school's career center at a critical point in the academic year. I successfully managed the office through an unprecedented increase in corporate and student engagement and spearheaded the transition of an extensive Career Pathways Program from a set of co-curricular activities into a School-wide graduation requirement.   The Center for Career Development helps students identify their interests and strengths, explore a diverse range of opportunities to build experience and clarity about their goals, and empower them to pursue paths they find personally meaningful.In my role, I primarily advise undergraduates and MSE candidates in the School of Engineering and Applied Science, and serve as the liaison to the Davis International Center and to the Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education. I focus on guiding students through the process of choosing a major, exploring career interests, applying to and interviewing for graduate and medical school, looking for internship or entry-level employment, and developing long-term career strategies. I also spearhead efforts to keep our department resources up-to-date, create social opportunities for our 25+ member team, and collaborate with colleagues to monitor trends, track student outcomes, and diversify the expanse of organizations seeking to recruit Princeton students.
