      LDC Young Voices are the Youth Delegates of the 5th UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5) who amplify the voices of young people from LDCs. They share their stories, ideas and perspectives through scenes from their daily experiences, reports about issues impacting their wider communities, and feed young people’s voices into the preparatory process for LDCs. They are also the youth delegates in the LDC5 Youth Forum where they will be involved in discussions, media and social media activities acting as LDC5 influencers and being engaged in media interviews, social media activities, bilateral and multilateral meetings as well as discussions; part of both the LDC5 Youth Forum and the LDC5 Conference (March 2023). The conference served as a vital platform to amplify the voices of 1.1 billion people living in the 46 least developed countries (LDCs).▪ Spoke at “Putting Youth at the forefront: Paving the way for an enabling environment for youth tothrive and prosper” youth event co-hosted by Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), the UnitedNations Development Programme (UNDP) and International Telecommunication Union (ITU).▪ Engaged in high-level dialogues with decision-makers, global leaders, and stakeholders to address key challenges affecting youth in LDCs.▪ Contributed to discussions on the Doha Programme of Action for LDCs and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, advocating for youth empowerment and inclusive policies.▪ Participated in the LDC5 Youth Forum (March 4, 2023), where young leaders from around the world proposed innovative solutions and actionable commitments.▪ Represented youth perspectives in dedicated events that fostered socioeconomic transformation, sustainable development, and digital inclusion in LDCs.
