  Providing computer support for research in cognitive neuroscience for the Centre of Human Brain Health at the University of Birmingham, managing a team of both MRI and MEG technicians. Responsible for the management and administration of the Centre Linux Parrallel Brain Imaging Computing cluster for MRI nd MEG data analysis and a range of computers required for data collection. Also has skills in data management to provide support in analysis related to human neuroimaging studies, heavily involved in the implementation of new research projects. Ensuring all analysis tools and software, specific to neuroimaging analysis are up to date and working correctly and helping in training users in the correct usage analyses tools and software. Also responsible for costing and implementation for the computing needs of the fMRI computing cluster.Duties also include hardware maintenance of all the facility technical computing equipment. Also responsible for the installation, configuration and management of the fMRI facilty Vsphere virtulisation cluster. And also responsible for the installation, configuration, implementation and management of the facility Plone CMS website and responsible for the network management of the facility. Show less
