  As the Nutrition Services Manager for Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing (NZ), I have experienced firsthand the power of a brand and the influence that responsible companies can have on the health and wellbeing of individuals. As the Nutrition Service Manager for Sanitarium, I was responsible for the strategic direction of nutrition within the organisation. Working alongside Marketing, New Product Development and Category my role and that of my team was to positively influence the development and marketing of products with respect to both nutrition and in the wider holistic wellbeing arena.My role and that of my team was also to ensure food labelling compliance across FSANZ (Food Standards Australia New Zealand) standards and that all advertising is also within ASA (Advertising Standards) guidelines with respect to health and nutrition claims.
