  Despite my job title as a QA/QC Officer, I was able to adequately perform other major tasks within the company such as R&D and registration work. This dynamic nature of my job at 4Farmers has allowed me to gain a greater understanding of the pesticide manufacturing process from start to finish. Key Duties:• Production QA & QC - Ensuring that all of 4Farmers' products conform to the specified standards, as well as the government's (APVMA). This is done through rigorous lab testing of each batch, using instruments such as GC, HPLC and particle size analyzer. Appropriate technical adjustments and instructions need to be effectively communicated to the plant operators in order to fix unique scenarios of anomalous batches to avoid detrimental results. • Production Batch Sheet Management - Writing/optimisation of production batch sheets, making sure that each batch sheet has the correct manufacturing procedure, safety precaution and is technically sound. It is crucial to be critical and attentive when writing these batch sheets, as false information could potentially delay production and at worst, injure plant operators.• Process Optimisation - Improved existing manufacturing processes to increase yield and time efficiency.• Research and Development (R&D) - Development work of brand new or off-patent formulation, which also included new GC & HPLC analysis methods that would be suitable for the formulations.• Registration work - Preparing documents for the registration of either new chemicals or optimization of a current one.
