  Target McConnells was my first agency experience after I completed my Masters in Multimedia through DCU. Working closely with one client, Vodafone, my role was to assist the art directors and developers by creating and animating assets. I created a range of flash banners in both standard and Rich Media formats. Working with such a large brand gave me the opportunity to work on some exciting projects, two of my favourite being the Vodafone Cherry Points online game and the award-winning Vodafone Christmas campaign.   Interning within EightyTwenty was an amazing experience as I got to work alongside some extremely talented designers. My role mainly involved the creation and animation of flash banner ads. After receiving a brief, I would create a storyboard of how I felt the banners should animate. Ideas and suggestions would be discussed with the client until the final storyboard was agreed on. I would then create the banners in various formats such as MPU, leaderboard and billboard using Adobe Flash. I also got the opportunity to work on elements of various mobile apps that the team were working on, including a Dragons Den App for Bank of Ireland and an app for Jameson Irish Whiskey. Show less

  My role here is quite diverse, providing assets on multiple platforms across different departments.In digital, I am responsible for keeping our website, tv3.ie, and our player, 3player, updated with new programme graphics, unique show pages that hold exclusive content, and promotional assets such as skins, takeovers, carousels and display ads. I also deal with client briefs which come through the sales team. Client briefs can consist of homepage takeovers, display ads, competitions and custom microsites. Recently, I have created custom pages to hold competitions for Brown Thomas and Pedigree.Working alongside the marketing team I look after all internal and external communications such as newsletters, market insights, invitations, booklets and any online material. Each week can bring a new challenge as we strive to stay ahead of the competition. With the launch of new programmes, such as our brand new soap Red Rock, comes the exciting opportunity to create eye-catching press ads, outdoor ads and unique promotional material. I also design engaging keynote presentations to be used both internally and externally.Working across multiple departments can bring a wide variety of jobs across different mediums, creating an exciting environment with new challenges and tight deadlines to be met.
