      Grew department from reactive incident only support with single part time employee, to a tiered 1st/2nd/3rd line service desk capable of offering fully managed services with NOC, full remote monitoring and support capabilities. Designed and implemented internal systems and processes, their intergrations into COTS systems creating a productised service offering that drove year on year growth within the buissness, while reducing field site visits for support by a factor of 10. Responsible for build and design of our data centres, virtualised infrastructure such as WLAN Controllers, Radius servers and vFirewalls. Productised infrastructure into one of the UKs first managed cloud wifi services (WAAS), iterating and expanding upon this year on year to add Location, Analytics and Authentication (cloud) as a Service product offerings. The managed service offering and cloud Products became the primary driver of growth within the buissness, and allowed for an increase across sales support and engineering from a head count of 15 to a head count to 35. Alongside developing our solutions, I lead initiatives to:Reduce our technical debt and eliminate tribal knowledge by documenting systems, technical procedures and SOPS into Confluence (Wiki), this was adopted company wide after seeing the sucess in the engineering department.Introduce a management software solution Connectwise, to manage the service desk and projects. This similarily was adopted by all department, and was intergral in our ISO9001 certification along side our documentation. I also held accountability for some aspects for health and safety, attaining IOSH certification.
