      Crystal International Group was founded in Hong Kong by Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lo in 1970. Today It has 20 self-operating manufacturing facilities spanning across five countries. With a workforce of approximately 70,000 with products includes lifestyle wear, denim, intimate, sweater and sportswear and outdoor apparel. I joined there at Executive & was promoted to Asst. Manger. Major Contributions:(1)Analyzing every processes in details so as to gauge our skills vs buyer Requirements(2) Providing work instructions for every work station with highlights of any critical process controls.(3) Providing the learning curve for new/difficult styling, processes or people.(4) Establish garment SMV before Pre Production Samples and verify them at bulk production.       S4Mi is a consulting firm, a non-profit organization under financed by Tesco Global Retailer and DFID,UK Aid; work to develop the RMG sector of Bangladesh, worked at 12 factories in Bangladesh.Major Contributions:(1) Before start the project, I was trained of TOT (Training of Trainers) from P3 consulting firm which is hired by Tesco, aim to deliver world class training.(2) Prepare training sessions, providing distance-support for delegates, conducting Baseline, Midline & End line evaluation of the project(3) I completed a project name ‘RMG cost improvement & Management development’ of 4 factories (Utah Group, Babylon garments ltd, Babylon Casualwear ltd & Aboni Knitwear Ltd). It was a 6 months duration project including 14 days class room training & practical implementation of IE tools & techniques. Core team member & secondary team members are formed to implement the project. Mid-level managers of respected factories attend the class room training & help to implement the things what they learn at the training. Average result of the project is improve Pilot line efficiency from 44% to 59% (34% improvement) & DHU reduce from 11 to 7 (36% reduction).(4) Working with middle level managers to transfer techniques, skills and knowledge of Productivity & Quality improvement through learning sessions. (5) The training session includes Productivity & IE tools like 5S, Kaizen, Problem solving tools, 5 why analysis, customer supplier feedback, DHU concept, Zero defect operator, Quality drill etc. Show less

I am leading a team of 15 people.Major Contributions:•Convert the Traditional section wise production system into Line wise production system by using Industrial Engineering concept that results in 22% productivity improvement at Linking, Trimming & Mending section. It also reduce 10% manpower & 10% rework rate.•Increase the number of Jacquard machine from 4 to 6 operate by 1 operator by introducing incentive scheme that reduces the cost of company around 10, 00,000 taka per month.•Convert Traditional section wise production system at Finishing into Line wise production system by using IE tools & techniques that result in 25% productivity improvement & 15% Manpower reduction by removing some non-value added process .•Help merchandising team to make product costing during the development stage by providing SMV of the product.•Work with Quality team & established a quality management system as a result, our buyers are quite happy with our quality system. It results in good score on Technical Audit ( Tesco-Green, GMP-84%, M&S-A Class)•Study, understand and implement complete guidelines of technical audit of Target USA.
