      ROLES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES A technical go to person within the team. Proactively monitor Rogers MPLS Network ensuring stability. Troubleshoot network incidents and perform triage towards quick resolution. Mitigate DOS/DDOS attack to minimize or eliminate risk to the network or services provided to customers. Troubleshoot service issues offered to customers such as VPRN, VPLS, EVPL, EPL, and Dedicated Internet delivered via Alcatel 7750, Cisco and Juniper platforms.  Troubleshoot Ethernet over Cable (EOC) service issues delivered via Alcatel 7750. Cisco CMTS and CASA CMTS platforms. Troubleshoot layer 1 service issues from T1 level to high bandwidth connections (200 gigabits) delivered via SONET and DWDM systems on Fujitsu 9500/7500/4500/4100, Ciena 6500, Alcatel 1830 and Alcatel DACS 1631 platforms. Create KEDB to account technical information not accounted on engineering documents. Create documentations intended for service diagnostics and service restorations (MOD and MOR). Regularly coordinate with internal support groups and vendor support to ensure all customer and network MTTR’s are met in the event of an incident. Execute Incident Management process to ensure all network events affecting enterprise business customers are managed to resolution in a timely manner 7x24, meeting all Customer and Network MTTR's and SLA's. Generate Incident Report to ensure all major or significant network events are documented and communicated to the Network and Business Units Executives.
