Conducted stock takes on the inventory to compare with system figures and identified an issue whereby stock was being incorrectly allocated and composite products were not linked to raw material.Reviewed and standardised the products inventory system and removed duplicate items. Correctly matched up the composite items with the raw materials required to produce them to improve data flow though the system. The product inventory system was connected to the sales system by a static table and I systematically reviewed the customer accounts to update them with the new product data minimising the impact on the customers.Produced a planning document to support the product production. By understanding the order numbers expected and production time (allowing for downtime) I was able to allocate work to ensure sufficient stock was produced. This was rolled out and enabled the production manager to see any potential shortfalls in a timely manner. Observed and documented the Puffin and Archbold Holdings account processes in preparation for producing the accounts for year end. Updated the spreadsheets to automate sections of the process and reduce the risk of errors. Reviewed payments relating to tenants that lease the offices and yard space using prior year figures as an estimate and allocated the funds where needed to the different renters based on square footage.Managed Purchase and Sales Ledgers and actioned all emails within the deadlines set, reconciling all transactions to the bank statement.Produced a fixed assets register for 2022 in excel and formulated it to automatically allocate the funds throughout the year reducing the risk from manually calculations. Compared these figures with the trial balance to ensure depreciation had been calculated correctly.Chased outstanding payments for the aged receivables to maximise the amount of money received by the company in preparation for month ends.
