  Luda was a sports bar. By day it functioned as a cafe and during the evening, a bar. There were also a number of gambling and gaming options such as a slots area, bingo, virtual reality and more. As a member of staff it was important that I was knowledgeable and able to assist in all functions of the business, including being wary of safe gambling practices.

  As a valet, I worked nights making sure all customers had what they needed in terms of food and drinks, especially our premium account holders. I was also required to work in the restaurant as a waitress or needed as a server during poker tournaments.

  Whilst studying I became a part of a confidential, through-the-night listening service, developed by my university. Having completed comprehensive training, volunteers would stay overnight waiting for calls and messages in which they would aid in non-advisory conversation.

  Following my studies I began working for a restaurant and bar, my predominant role was to bartend but sometimes I would wait tables. I was then promoted to supervisor in their outdoor space 'One Central'. With this new role came new responsibilities such as rota development and delegation of tasks.

  Working in a children's home meant being responsible for the routines of young people and catering to their individual needs, in and out of the care home. It also taught me about relevant safeguarding practices and the protection of children.

  During my Australian working holiday visa, I worked at the fitz where I had a mix of responsibilities including fast paced restaurant work and bar work. We also provided catered functions where I was largely responsible for running the event.

  To help towards completing Australian regional work I drove a compact roller on a wind farm and sometimes partook in manual labour. Our responsibility was to create the foundations for the turbines to eventually be built on.
