After my first semester at university, I was exposed to the 'student diet' culture which involved takeout, instant noodles and instant meals almost everyday. After realising that cooking would save time, energy and money, I decided to embark on the FoodScrapz journey- an organisation dedicated to providing the resources and skills needed to cook at uni. The original idea was to create a cooking app for young adults where people could find easy recipes and plan their meals and shopping for the week. After completing the AUT X Challenge accelerator programme, we have decided to pivot to social media and the FoodScrapz blog whilst we gain more experience. Show less
