  Night Shift Crew Lead

  As the Night Shift Crew Lead I was responsible for 11 people on my shift. It was my responsibility to direct manpower and resources to cover Large cabin inspections, Mid-cabin inspections, AOG, Drop-in and NetJets aircraft as required to meet customer delivery dates. This required beating CMP times and accurately and safely troubleshooting squawks in a timely manner, providing options for the customer, and order parts and tooling. It was also my duty to communicate with customers, maintenance controllers, technical operations and field service reps. When asked I would assist and fill in for Service Team Manager. Prior to that, from March 2009 till April 2011 I was assigned to the Weekend Crew working primarily NetJets, Drop-in and AOG customers. From May 2006 to March 2009 I was assigned to the Large Cabin Crew working scheduled, unscheduled and AOG maintenance. While working in West Palm Beach from Feb 2004 to May 2006 I worked on 2nd Shift. There I worked Large cabin and Mid-cabin Scheduled, Unscheduled Maintenance, AOG, Line Troubleshooting and supported NetJets aircraft. I was one of the primary road trip technicians that would travel to provide customers with AOG support. I was designated an Engine Run Qualifier and a Facility Taxi Qualifier. I performed engine runs and taxied for operational checks, as well as train other technicians.   Crew Chief

  It is the primary responsibility of the Crew Chief to schedule maintenance, provide operational support, and ensure that all tasks performed on dedicated aircraft meet or exceed standards set forth by the aircraft manufacturer, FAA and current company standards and polices regardless of whether performed in-house or by an off-site maintenance facility. The Crew Chief will ensure necessary parts are ordered; service performed and will coordinate with maintenance department management, other Crew Chiefs, vendors, and other company personnel to ensure safe, accurate, and timely completion of work. The Crew Chief will work with maintenance management as an inter-department liaison to ensure maintenance activities are coordinated with other MGM Resorts Int'l efforts and commitments in a timely manner. Manage, within their qualifications and experience, general services, repairs, and overhauls being performed on dedicated aircraft/engines ensuring each aircraft is in a good mechanical condition and safe for flight. The Crew Chief will make sure that all maintenance activities on dedicated aircraft are documented in accordance with current FAA, manufacturer, and department procedures /policies.
