  Teacher and Library Media Assistant

  While in District 65, I worked at Nichols Middle School and then King Arts Magnet School. Over my time there, I taught a mix of Language Arts, World History, and Technology. I also established the debate program in the Evanston middle schools, piloting the program at King Arts and helping grow teams at the middle schools. I was coach of the year in the Chicago Middle School Debate League in 2012 with teams from my school winning first in the league during our second year as a team.

  Technology Coordinator

  As Tech Coordinator for the last 7 summers, I have responsible for keeping track of and setting up equipment for the Center for Talent Development. I help consult teachers, staff, and administrators in technology needs and help maintain and transport a variety of equipment across campus.

  As an educator at CICS Northtown, I taught a wide range of classes from English 1 to AP Computer Science. My experience runs the gamut from working with students with special needs to students who operate within the gifted spectrum. I offered minor a small amount of IT support.
