      I worked as a tech law lawyer at Fasken and spent a year and a half on an off-site work assignment at Sidewalk Labs, Alphabet's urban innovation company. While at Fasken and Sidewalk Labs, I worked on matters ranging from copyright, autonomous vehicles regulation, biometrics, and broad range of privacy matters including compliance, policy, and government relations. Throughout my articling term, I worked on files in copyright, corporate law, privacy, and internet law. A typical week involved many tech law matters spanning litigation, compliance, and policy. I built relationships with lawyers in multiple offices and regularly worked with lawyers in the Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal offices. I typically juggled several files with various deadlines and levels of intensity, involving many areas of tech law.
