  As a Data Analysis Intern at IBM, I led a team project aimed at addressing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To ensure our work stood out, I initiated a unique approach focusing on the rising energy demands of AI development and its potential climate change implications.Instead of relying on readily available datasets, we sought relevant databases to create our own, tailored to our specific problem statement. We finalized two freely available databases from Our World In Data, merged them to create a unique dataset, and conducted a thorough analysis to formulate a hypothesis aimed at meeting the UN SDGs by 2030.Our analysis involved training various time series forecasts, machine learning models, and deep learning models. We evaluated these models using appropriate metrics to select the best performers and used them to predict target columns under different scenarios, both with and without our hypothesis.Finally, we created an interactive PowerBI dashboard to visualize our findings and drew meaningful conclusions. We summarized our insights in a comprehensive presentation, offering a innovative data-driven approach to meeting the UN SDGs. Show less
