  I was responsible for implementing the college BTEC Sport programme. I was the programme manager for 3 years before leaving to start at Nottingham Trent University. I also taught A-level PE including; Sport Psychology, History, Anatomy and Physiology and Sociocultural Studies. I co-ordinated the practical assessments and observations process. As Sport Manager I was in charge of developing the college sport offer. In my time at Bilborough College we were awarded Sports College of the year as well as best Sports College in the Midlands for 2 years running. Together with the Head of Enrichment the college enrichment programme received a grade of Outstanding on two consecutive OFSTED inspections over 5 years.

  Head of Sport Development

  As the Head of Sport Development at NTU I was the strategic lead for participation in sport. This involved leading on and implementing collaborative and coordinated high quality participation programmes to enhance engagement, retention and progression of students at Nottingham Trent University. I directly line managed 6 staff and oversaw over 30 staff within the wider team. I was the departmental lead with regards to the Access and Participation agenda, the Sport Laureus Sport for Good project, Student wellbeing and mental health as well as club development, workforce development and volunteering.
