Using a Design of Experiment (DOE), 20 experimental runs were generated to obtain a statistical analysis of specific optimal operating conditions. The measurement of lead content was achieved using ICP-OES; while FTIR and SEM-EDS were used for the chemical and physical characterization of the adsorbents.
