  Founding President

  Founded The Events Society which became the largest society at Leeds Metropolitan University within two weeks with over 300 members. The Events Society aims to create the most employable event management graduates in the industry by offering a programme of practical training qualifications, work experience opportunities and networking events for its' members. Role included strategic planning, sales, brand development, recruiting, training and motivating a large team, concept and design of marketing, managing budgets and cash flow and HR issues. Also responsible for creating and delivery of a curriculum for new event managers. Engaged in consultative event management for university facilities and other societies. Ultimately responsible for the delivery of the first UKCEM graduation ball, as well as 7 other events throughout the year including themed society socials, industry trips and a student community festival.
