      At the Household Cavalry Museum I was responsible for selecting objects for display in the new visitor centre, ensuring that they fitted in with the overall theme of the galleries and illustrating the more detailed points of the curatorial brief. This included the following duties: Writing the interpretive text for the display including the introductions to each section of the museum Conservation, packing, moving and installation of all the objects and the procurement of a number of object loans, as well as the preservation of more vulnerable items. Managing a group of local volunteers as well as a number of contractors. Devising a comprehensive documentation policy for the current and new collections in accordance with the MDA’s Spectrum protocols Installing and utilising the MODES database, and planning the new museum and archive Gaining corporate sponsorship for the opening Pageant. Forging new relationships within the defence community.       My role as Partnership Coordinator was to help facilitate the growthand sustainability of the museum service by maintaining andbuilding relationships to ensure Leeds Museums and Galleries (LMG) began delivering the best service to their stakeholders, both old and new.       As Regional Manager for Museums and Heritage in the North of England and West Midlands I was responsible for delivering the museum specific audience development project Visitor Finder.       My role was to take responsibility for the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of the Royal Armouries interpretation, digital and exhibition programmes; to ensure appropriate provision for all visitors to a high standard across the three sites and online.       My mission is to inspire and engage a range of audiences globally with the extraordinary heritage in Antarctica. By crafting and delivering a strategic range of engagement activities in the UK and beyond I hope to bring the wonder of Antarctica and its unique heritage to life. Through a programe of digital engagement, XR experiences, on site delivery with partners and learning activities, we will continue to grow our audiences and inspire new generations to discover this incredible continent.The UK Antarctic Heritage Trust is the principal organisation in the UK dedicated to advancing conservation, culture and education for heritage in Antarctica. We aim to connect people with Antarctica's wonder and its stories of human endeavour to help promote a greater understanding of this extraordinary place and the role we all have in protecting it. We help conserve Antarctic heritage by looking after six historic sites on the Antarctic Peninsula, delivering a range of vibrant and creative public programmes, and working with Antarctic policymakers on issues related to heritage conservation. Through focusing on the layers of human history in Antarctica, we use their remarkable stories to explore Antarctica and why it matters to us all, helping current and future generations understand, value and protect this precious wilderness. Building on our strengths, and learning from our experience, our ambition over the next decade is to: safeguard British heritage in Antarctica; engage a growing and increasingly diverse audience with this heritage and the broader questions concerning Antarctica and use our expertise and influence to help secure a sustainable future for this most remarkable place on our planet.
